Oxyresveratrol is a natural product found in plants like Morous alba linn and Artocarpus lakoocha. Both plants are common in India. It’s known for its exceptionally high ability to lighten skin color by preventing the production of melanin- the pigment responsible for dark skin tones
Occurance
Oxyresveratrol can stop tyrosinase activity in the skin in a dose-dependent manner, meaning the more you use, the more it inhibits the enzyme. Even at very low concentrations ranging from 0.3 to 5 micromoles, it can reduce tyrosinase activity by 25% to 84%. At around 1 micromole, it can cut activity by half. Compared to kojic acid, a common skin-lightening ingredient, oxyresveratrol is 32 times stronger at inhibiting tyrosinase, and it’s about 12 times stronger than licorice extract, another ingredient used for skin lightening.
A unique agent for skin lightening, anti-aging, UV protection, and potent antifungal properties.

• Oxyresveratrol is skin friendly- The depigmenting effect of Oxyresveratrol works through the reversible inhibition of tyrosinase activity rather than the suppression of the expression of tyrosinase enzyme.
• Oxyresveratrol showed NO toxicity in human skin irritation test, eye irritation test , sensitization test and acute Oral toxicity test.
• Extremely low concentration is enough in formulation[ 0.1 to 0.25%] compared to other popular products
• Skin whitening activity , the onset, significant whitening , optimum whitening periods and percentage whitening for Oxyresveratrol are far superior compared to any of the known compounds , both natural and synthetic.
• Good water solubility and stability in water solution is extremely favorable for preparation of personal care products compared to others.
• Recently reported Anti-aging , Antifungal, Antioxidant, and Anti-inflammatory activities of oxyresveratrol on the skin , position it Unique and superior to all the known skin care product known till date.
Oxyresveratrol's Safety and Efficacy
Oxyresveratrol didn't cause any skin irritation in human tests
Animal tests, including ones for acute toxicity, skin and eye irritation, sensitization, and oral toxicity, showed no harmful effects.
Human trials using oxyresveratrol cream at concentrations as low as 0.2 to 0.25% were more effective than Kojic acid formulations at 2 to 3%.
Oxyresveratrol was also more effective and acted faster than licorice extract with similar compositions.
